Application Scholarship

Every spring Vineyard Youth Tennis awards five full scholarships for one week of summer tennis camp at “Adidas Tennis Camps” in Massachusetts or Connecticut. Scholarships are awarded to children based on a committee evaluation of the child’s desire, dedication, attendance, attitude, ability, and financial need. Children ages 9-18 years old can apply. The following are required for application:

Completed application (posted here in the spring)
A one-page letter written by a parent requesting financial assistance
A one-page essay written solely by the child answering the following questions: Why do you want to attend this tennis camp and why do you love tennis?

Application can be submitted by mail or in person. Please let us know if you have any questions

Merit Scholarship

Each winter the tennis staff selects one individual for a one week all expense paid tennis camp. The individual is selected based on the following criteria.

Must be a USTA tournament player, have a good attitude, desire, dedication and must possess abilities that the staff thinks will enable he/she to pursue the game after the High School level. The award winner will have his/her name prominently displayed inside the VYT Clubhouse.
